Throughout the year, Atlanta Film Series presents limited-time online showcases featuring outstanding independent films from around the world.

The Queer Horror Showcase streams June 16-30 on FestFlix.tv and features a curated selection of LGBTQ+ horror shorts from independent filmmakers.

From psychological horror and dark fantasy to strange and unsettling tales, these films highlight some of the most exciting voices working in horror today.

New showcases will be announced throughout the year, giving audiences another way to discover independent films beyond the festival screen.

A Seat at the Table

After Us is a queer driven anthological, post-apocalyptic series about what people will do to survive.

This pilot is about a bereaved father played by Noah Kershisnik (I See the Demon) seeks shelter in an old church, only to discover another survivor played by Nick Garner is living on the other side of a zombie crowded street. As they build a relationship with one another they see a pair of undead below developing a similar relationship. Played by Tori Pence (Studio C) and McKell Rae.

CHEATER is loosely based on the El Salvadoran urban legend of "La Siguanaba." Known by many names throughout Central America. But in El Salvador, she haunts urban legends by the name of “La Siguanaba.” In the darkest of nights, she is said to take on the form of a beautiful woman to lure men, particularly unfaithful ones, out to meet their end. Right before they give in, she shape-shifts to her true form taking their lives. And if she shows mercy, it comes at the expense of their sanity.
